why boy child

In our world today, things have completely changed. People have started caring for the girl child more than they do the boy.

It is believed that most of the Kenya communities neglected the baby girl in the past. For example, not taking her to school as they believed the only benefit from a girl was dowry. Ever since women started standing up for their rights, it seems now things have changed and the boy child is now being ignored.

Nowadays, you find many organisations formed in the name of helping girls and forgetting boys, yes it is true that a girl is more fragile but it does not mean boys also don't have to be looked after.

According to the research in Kisii and Nyamira counties, through the Ministry of Education, the number of boys in schools has dropped tremendously. It has been proven that these boys drop pout of school to become bodaboda operators.

This has led to a lot of deaths in the area amongst the youth because they do not even go to driving school to learn how to go about the road rules and, therefore, die in grisly motorbike accidents.

Therefore, we need to take care of both genders so that we can make a better future for them. No gender is more superior than the other.
